The Spring Symposium & Luncheon, a beloved annual tradition for more than two decades, at the Museum of the City of New York.
It celebrates New Yorkers who have made a lasting impact on the cultural landscape of this great city.

The City of Design Award was presented to acclaimed designers Jacques Grange and Ralph Pucci. Inaugurated last year and presented to Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan,
the City of Design Award recognizes those who have made New York the design capital of the world and who inspire future generations of designers to bring their talents to our great city.

Celebrated for merging the modern with the traditional, Mr. Grange is acclaimed for his New York interiors that include the private homes of notable New Yorkers Ronald Lauder and Valentino,
The Mark Hotel, and Paloma Picasso’s showroom. Mr. Grange’s equally distinguished international clientele include Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, HRH The Princess of Hanover,
Alain Ducasse, François Pinault, and Robert Agostinelli.

Ralph Pucci is considered the “best-of-the-best” in the fields of mannequins, lighting, furniture and art. In 2015,
The Museum of Arts and Design recognized his work with Ralph Pucci: The Art of the Mannequin. Pucci won the 2009 Markopoulos Award,
the Visual Merchandising Industry’s highest honor.

Mr. Grange spoke at the Symposium on his work and creative process, joined in conversation by Mr. Ralph Pucci.
Past Symposium speakers have include Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan, Gloria Vanderbilt, Jamie Drake, Peter Pennoyer,
Miles Redd, Bunny Williams, William T. Georgis, and Alexia Hampton.
